The International Poultry Day Symposium is on hold

International Desk: The poultry symposium, scheduled to be held in Dhaka on March 9, has been adjourned due to safety reasons from COVID-19 virus. The organizer World’s Poultry Science Association-Bangladesh Branch (WPSA-BB) has announced this today after an Executive Committee Meeting held at its Niketan office. The decision was taken with unanimous decision, a press release said.

It should be noted here that as part of the historic celebration of the “Mujib Year”, the WPSA-BB announced to observe the “International Poultry Day” for the first time in Bangladesh. As part of this mega event, a poultry symposium was organized on 9 March, at Dhaka Regency Hotel and a “Poultry Fest” was scheduled on 21 March at Banani Playground in the capital. Earlier the “Poultry Fest” was suspended on March 8 and the Poultry Symposium suspended today.
