Special Correspondent: The 6th World Veterinary Poultry Association Asia Meeting , organized by the WVPA Philippine Branch and represented by the Philippine College of Poultry Practitioners (PCPP), took place from 17-18th October , in Malina, Philippines. This year’s theme was Strengthening Poultry Health: Enhancing Preparedness for Disease Emergencies. Poultry veterinarians, researchers, academicians, and practitioners from across Asia and around the world participated in this event.
All really enjoyed sharing their knowledge and expertise with fellow poultry veterinarians through oral and poster presentations. This was the great opportunity to engage with technical experts, exchange experiences, and learn state-of-the-art innovations, updates, and methods to address poultry health problems and challenges.
Vaxxinova Asia and customers also participated in the 6th WVPA Asia meeting, with delegates from Bangladesh , Thailand , Vietnam , Malaysia and Vaxxinova International – Mr. Julien Gros. Dr. Zahid Hossain- Vaxxinova Bangladesh representative , highlighted the importance and commitment of constant knowledge updating on how “ to Strengthen Poultry Health” and reduce the field challenges. Since the 5th WVPA meeting , in Dhaka , Vaxxinova has been reinforcing the active participation through publications , veterinary committee meetings and attendance. On that occasion, it was tackled the importance of FAdV/IBH in Bangladesh with the oral presentation “ The “non-stop battle” against IBH-HHS in South/Southeast Asia and autogenous vaccines background – practical perspective”.
