AgriNews24 Report: I think in every area where you do it starts with education and education. Basically, that’s the power, you know, to go to the next directions and the development. Now what is strong is of course we know our equipment; we know our technology and what we can support. And countries, they’re in different stages and what we want to do with such educations, we can basically help to lift up the animal nutrition sector together with the society here that we can speed it up to develop into the next levels.
The above was said by Mr. Philipp Hug, Head of Business Unit Animal Nutrition Bühler Changzhou. He said these things in a technical seminar organized by Bühler Bangladesh on Thursday (07 November). The title of the seminar was ‘Optimizing Poultry Feed and Aqua Feed Manufacturing’. Engineers and nutritionists of the famous Feed mill of the country participated in the seminar organized at Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel in the capital. Bühler experts presented technical presentations and speeches there.
“I think the feed millers, in many cases they do understand how to, you know, going in clean directions. I would say, if I could give a point, is to keep the same, the feed mill as clean as possible. You know, of course you have certain levels of equipment, but with cleanness there comes safety. And by the end, what we are responsible: for, and each and every feed mill! Is responsible for, is for safe feed. And safe feed gives later home food safety, clearly.
And number two, of course you have to listen in some cases you have to, I mean, at the first point you have to start to educate also your customers because by the end it’s the farmers which do have the demand. And that’s exactly the same way what we -are trying to do, we try to work together with the feed millers to give them some education in the development”-added Mr. Hug.
He said, ‘But the same of course is also needed from the feed mills towards the end users, the farmers in some cases, because you need to also showcase them and what are the requirements, what are the changes they can do, be it in protein, be it in other details, in order to get, of course keep the animals safe, but then also, you know, to promote their growth and actually by the end also become more efficient’.
