Staff Correspondent: The Poultry Innovation Research Division of Maverick Innovation has officially commenced its advanced broiler research trial facilities, marking a significant step in poultry science and sustainable farming. Equipped with 64 pens housing 10 birds each, the facility supports approximately 8 treatments with 8 replications, ensuring robust and reliable research outcomes.
Dr. Kabir Chowdhury, Founder & CEO of Maverick innovation informed it AgriNews24. He said, The trials primarily focus on impacts on gut health and overall bird health, with facilities capable of conducting nutrient digestibility studies. These efforts aim to enhance poultry nutrition and management practices, addressing the industry’s most pressing challenges.
Dr. Kabir also said, looking ahead, Maverick Innovation plans to expand its capabilities with layer research trials and a disease control facility by the end of 2025, solidifying its commitment to pioneering advancements in poultry production and health.
