ENAJ Webinar: How public health can benefit from the veterinary contribution

International Desk: Covid 19 has had a devastating effect on the entire world. It is a stark reminder of what zoonoses can impact when transferring from animal to human populations. About 60 percent of all human diseases are zoonotic in nature, the majority of these stemming from wildlife. The combatting of viruses in the veterinary world can serve as a step forward in the combat in the human world. What can human healthcare learn from veterinary virology?

The European Network of Agricultural Journalists is organizing a journalistic webinar about this topic on Friday June 4th at 13.00 h (Central European Time). Three excellent speakers will present their vision.

The webinar will be moderated by Damien O’Reilly, journalist at RTE radio in Ireland. The webinar is exclusive for members of the guilds and association of ENAJ and of the world organization IFAJ.
